Target group

Personnel who want SOFT certified education within rope access

Previous knowledge

You must be at least 20 years old to participate in the course. Additionally, a valid health certificate, not more than three years old, must be submitted at the start of the course. A valid Level 1 training certificate, or one that has expired within the last 24 months as of the exam date for the applied course, is required. A minimum of 500 hours at Level 1 over a period of at least 12 months is also necessary.

Theoretical elements

In the theoretical training, you will gain fundamental knowledge of workplace environment regulations and equipment legislation. The course builds upon the elements you learned in Rope Access Technique Level 1, delving deeper into specific topics.

Practical elements

In the practical training, you will learn to establish both simple and more complex access systems, as well as assist the Safety Supervisor in guiding Level 1 operators. Additionally, you will practice performing buddy rescue and rescue operations in complex situations.

This Rope Access Technique course represents the intermediate level of training in the system, and passing the exam qualifies you to work as a "level 2 operator" in rope access teams led by an approved safety leader.
