The right rescue equipment is essential to be able to deal with emergency situations and save your workmate in the event of an accident. It is equally crucial that you have trained in the rescue situation so well that it is at your fingertips when you need it.

The Norwegian Labor Inspection Authority has clear guidelines when it comes to working at height. They require the company to have a rescue plan and rescue equipment available at the workplace when you work at height. Work at height is defined as work that takes place higher than two meters above the ground, in which case it is required to use fall protection equipment. However, it may make sense to consider securing also at lower heights.

Fall protection course

This means that when you buy fall protection equipment, you must also invest in rescue equipment. If you take a fall protection course, you will also receive training in rescue. We have our own fall rescue courses.

Having a rescue plan and necessary rescue equipment available is not only a requirement from the Norwegian Labor Inspection Authority, but also an essential part of creating a safe workplace. It is about protecting life and health, and it should be a high priority for all companies that carry out work at height.
