Sales Terms

These terms apply to all deliveries from the seller to the buyer (customer), unless otherwise agreed in writing. Where not specifically determined in these terms, the Purchase Act of May 13, 1988, number 27 applies.

Ordering of Goods

Orders should preferably be made in writing via email. When ordering, always provide the product code, article name, and quantity, as well as any size and color variations for items where this may vary. Remember to provide the exact delivery address if it differs from the invoice address. If the buyer wishes the invoice to be marked with an order number or other references, this must be informed to the seller at the time of ordering.

Order Confirmation

An order is considered accepted unless a written protest/cancellation is sent within a reasonable time after receiving the order confirmation. Order confirmation with the indicated delivery date is sent to the customer by email.

Guiding Delivery Times

The normal delivery time for stock items is 3 working days from the order date. Most products in our price lists are considered stock items, except for certain special items for rescue/evacuation. Other goods and orders with particularly large quantities of individual items will be delivered according to a specific agreement.

Delivery Procedures

Orders over 30,000 NOK are delivered free in Norway (CPT). For orders under this amount, freight and handling costs amount to 5% of the order sum, with a minimum of 198 NOK. The basis is the total order excluding VAT, after any discounts and without fees. Any remaining items where the total value does not exceed 250 NOK will not be backordered. Backorders are delivered free of charge.

Shipping

Our main carrier is Post Nord, which delivers directly to the provided delivery address. Posten Norge is our secondary carrier.

Payment Terms

Our standard payment terms are 10 days after delivery. After the due date, interest is calculated, currently at 1% per month.

Complaints

Deficiencies or faults in delivered goods must be communicated in writing to AAK Safety AS. In case of suspected transport damage or loss during transit, the carrier's nearest department must be contacted immediately. The return of goods can only occur after a prior agreement, where the cause, as well as the invoice and order number, are provided. Goods returned should be in the same condition as received, with the original packaging intact. A return form must be filled out. Returns due to faults in the product are covered by AAK Safety AS. In case of transport damage where the recipient is the payer of the freight, the recipient themselves must seek compensation from the carrier.

Changes to Goods/Prices

We reserve the right to make changes in prices, product selection, design, and construction details.

Retention of Title

The seller retains ownership of the goods until full payment is received. Subject to any typographical errors in the price list.
